About Us

The CIC-IT was initially created with a focus on Ultrasound, then renewed in 2008 after the DGOS (Ministry of Health) / Inserm call for tenders. Its is integrated into the University Hospital of Tours and associated with the UMR Inserm U930 in François Rabelais University. It also interacts strongly with in vivo Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound departments, in vitro Nuclear Medicine lab and the groupement d’Imagerie Médicale (Medical Imaging pool).
It is one of the CIC 1415 modules.

Our Specializations

Technological Innovations and new medical fields of interest for ultrasonic waves with a view to defining diagnoses or therapies.
